Tibetan

Characterized by the preeminence of the religious and fantastic element, art in Tibet is the expression of an imaginary deeply rooted in the Tibetan people in which the abstract, symbolic and archetypal dimension becomes the object of spiritual practice.

Chinese and Indian influences mix in their multiple suggestions to produce an artistic style - the Tibetan one - which not only becomes characteristic of the whole Himalayan area (with "Tibetan art" in fact we also mean that of Bhutan, Ladakh, Sikkim and part of Nepal), but which is also exported to Mongolia and Siberia.
