This alloy copper plaque of Buddha is an exceptional work of art that originated in the ancient region of Gandhara, which is now present-day Pakistan and Afghanistan. This plaque depicts Buddha seated on a plinth with his hands in Dharmachakra Mudra,. He is wearing an elaborate robe and a halo encircles his head. The plinth is decorate with a relief depiction of two worshippers sitting around stupa.
