The face with elongated eyes beneath arched brows, flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair in tight curls and the ushnisha topped by a flaming finial. This Buddha is seated on a pedestal in the cross-legged yogic posture of satvaparyankasana. His right hand is lowered, long fingers pointing downward in the earth-touching gesture, or bhumisparshamudra.
