Object literature:  Milarepa (1040-1123) is one of the most famous Tibetan yogi and teachers. He lived during the 11th century and into the beginning of the 12th century. During his long meditative retreats in the Himalayan's mountains, he composed numerous songs on Buddhist religious teachings. He was the main student of Marpa Chokyi Lodro, the founder of the Kagyu traditions in Tibet.
