Object literature: Utagawa Kunisada  (歌川 国貞), also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III, was the leading print artist of the late Edo period. Without doubt he was the most prolific and successful print artist of all time and his reputation far exceeded that of his contemporaries Kuniyoshi, Hiroshige and Hokusai.
